Krafty Kids-Toilet Paper Roll Puppets

Want to teach your children to recycle while doing a fun craft activity? Just save up your toilet paper rolls, then show them how to make paper dolls. It’s simple! Just cover a cardboard toilet paper roll with cardstock or Designer Series Paper; for the face, punch a circle from cardstock using the 2-1/2” Circle Punch. (I shaped the faces using Paper Snips.) Cut the hair from cardstock and use a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker for the eyes. Done! Add as much detail as you want. Let the kids come up with different outfits, hats, etc. (You might even end up wanting to make a few for yourself!) πŸ˜‰

If you prefer, attach the faces to popsicle sticks so the kids can use them as puppets.

These would be great for a school party. You could even put a small gift or candy inside for a teacher gift. Or to use for a summer project when it gets too hot to play outside!

June 12, 2013

Jennifer married Cory Theurer on Saturday, June 1st. It was PERFECT! We had such a wonderful day with family and friends.

Now, Convention is around the corner! I get to celebrate my 25 year anniversary along with Stampin' Up! this year! It sounds like it will be a PARTY for a few days and I cannot wait!

This week, I am relaxing and playing with some of my family at Lake Powell. Isn't it gorgeous?!?!

I have missed posting and having a regular schedule lately! Watch for some more regular posting of cute projects and ideas as I prepare for Convention. Here is a card that I received from Duane Cotter. I thought it would be a cute one for Father's Day this weekend!

Have a great day!
