Beautiful Ride

January 28, 2016

Here’s another card from my Watercolor Week, featuring the Beautiful Ride stamp set. When I am watercoloring, I find it easier if I can emboss my image first. It gives me a solid outline to place my colors into. And makes my image a little bolder. I used Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder for this card. Happy Stamping!

Watercolor Week!

January 26, 2016

I had a class last week and one of my favorite projects that evening was a card that required watercolor. I had some first time stampers at that class and it was so fun to watch them brave the aqua painter and try their hand at being an artist. They truly came to life and their card became their own!

It is because of this experience that I would like to share some watercolor ideas this week!

I will be featuring the Beautiful Ride stamp set. It is so versatile and fun! You can find it on page 15 of your Occasions Catalog.

Enjoy this tutorial and check back tomorrow for my Watch it Weekly Wednesday video!
