It’s that time of year! We are always looking for new ideas on giving gifts and gift cards. At our annual Stampin’ Jill’s Get Together we had the opportunity to get together in person (finally!) and see some wonderful demonstrations. We had our guest demonstrator, Mindy Clove, share a DIY gift box & gift card holder idea. We recorded the demo and added it to our YouTube cannel, CLICK HERE to watch the instructions and demo and see the video below.
Gift Box Idea
Here we have the cute fun Gift Box idea where you can put different kinds of candy and sweets to give a special someone. We had some requests to include the gift box measurements that were shown in our demo video.
Cut the base cardstock – 12″ x 5¾”
Score @ 11½”, 10½”, 9½”, 6″, 2½”, 2″ & 5¼”, 4¾”, 1″, ½”
Then cut extra cardstock off shown in the photo below on the right side.
Cut Designer Series Paper (DSP) – 3¼” x 3″ & 3¼” x 1½”
Cardstock – 3½” x 3¼” & 3½” x 1¾”
Adhere it all together and add your embellishments. (check the video to see how gift box was assembled)
Gift Card Holder Card Idea
Now we are now going to go over the gift card holder card measurements.
Card Base in cardstock – 4¼” x 5½”
Gift Card Holder in cardstock – 3⅛” x 4¼”
Inside Writing Piece cardstock – 3½” x 4¼”
