I was so excited when I saw the Christmas Countdown Project Kit in the Holiday Catalog. The Kit includes enough supplies to make 25 mini boxes, plus a sturdy outer box to hold them all.
The Christmas Countdown Stamp Set is sold separately, but adds such a special touch to the front of the boxes. I used Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso and Mossy Meadow Classic Stampin’ Pads.
Here is the finished project! SO easy and fun!
It’s always nice when a project can be used in multiple ways! I decided to decorate the back of the boxes using a Gratitude theme and I love the way it turned out! I kept it really simple so that the boxes would be flat and I’d still be able to store it in the original box it came in.
I thought that the Come to Gather Designer Series Paper was a great accent for this project. I cut the DSP into strips that were just a little smaller then 2″ and then used the 1″ Circle Punch to punch out the finger hole.
The Gathered Leaves Dies along with some Copper Foil Sheets gave me all of the embellishments that I needed. I plan to put memories, quotes and things that my family are grateful for in the boxes. Then, when December rolls around, I’ll just flip the boxes around and add my advent goodies.
