Fun Fold Card Idea – The Gate Fold

We first shared this fun fold card idea – the Gate Fold –  last year. Jill loved it so much that she was out of control creating a variety of beautiful samples! Click HERE to see those ideas and that video.

This week we shared an another way you can create the Gate fold. You can see that video here:

Card Instructions

Here is the template.

Cut 1 Sheet of Designer Series Paper (DSP) @ 12″ x 5¼” and Score @ 2″, 4″, 8″, 10″

Then trim off 2 triangle pieces as shown below (on the pink dotted line)

Fold on score lines and adhere the 2 extra triangle pieces as shown below or in the video.

Cut card stock 5½” x 4¼” (base of the card) and cut card stock  5″ x 3¾” & 4¾” x 3½”(inside of the card)

Add embellishments and you have a beautiful fun fold card!
