This Pull Tab Flip Card is such a fun layout with an interactive feature. This idea was shared with us by Kristine Mcnickle on our recent trip to Norway!
This weeks Watch it Weekly Wednesday video features the Pull Tab Flip Card but in a different format. Click here to check it out or watch below.
In the video, Aubrey shows the Horizontal format of the card, but we wanted to give you the Vertical format as well!
Vertical Pull Tab Flip Card Tutorial –
Cut cardstock or Designer Series Paper @ 5″ x 3¾”
Use the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut the banner out of the center.
Card base: Cut cardstock @ 5½” x 4¼”
Adhere white 5″ x 3¾” layer onto card base using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Pull Strip: Cut cardstock @ 7″ x 2″ & Score @ 1 7/8″ & 2¼”
Punch pull strip with the Very Best Trio punch as shown.
Insert pull strip into banner opening. Add adhesive (we like Tear & Tape) to the top of the fold on the pull strip as shown.
Cut Card Front 4″ x 3″
Adhere the top of the 3 x 4 card front to the top of the pull strip, making sure the bottom of the pull strip is flush with the bottom of the card base.
Card Insides: Cut 2 Basic White Cardstock pieces @ 3¼” x 2½”
Adhere one of the white pieces to the back of the card front. Add adhesive as shown to the pull tab and the other white piece of the card stock.
Adhere the top of the white piece to the pull tab as shown.
Adhere the bottom on the white piece to the 5″ x 3¾” white cardstock.
So when you open the card the tab will move down.
Check this little video to see how the card moves.
Here are the ideas we came up with using the Pull Tab Flip Card technique.
