The wonderful Mindy Clove demonstrated for us at one of our Annual Stampin’ Get-Togethers. She shared how to make a multi-panel accordion fold card. We got many comments and questions on it and decided this card needed a dedicated spot on our blog and a little more in depth instructions. More Instructions on assembling this Multi-Panel Accordion Fold Card.
Cut cardstock @ 12″ x 5½” Score cardstock @ 4″ & 8″.
Cut another cardstock 4½” x 5½” Score cardstock @ ½”.
Use the 5th largest rectangle in the Rectangle Stitched Dies to cut out on each panel.
Use the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to cut out rectangles on each panel. *TIP: Use a sticky note to hold the die down in the exact location you want.
Glue together all the panels as shown on the video.
Cut 4 pieces of cardstock @ 5¼ x 3¾.
Use the 6th largest rectangle in the Rectangle Stitched Dies to cut out on each.
You will end up with 4 frames. Adhere all frames to the base of the card.
Cut cardstock @ 8½” x 3¼” Score @ 2¾ & 2½”
Cut another piece of cardstock @ 9″ x 3¼” Score @ ½” & 3½” & 6¼”
Place Tear & Tape on ½” piece and adhere exactly as shown below.
You will notice in the photo below the two inside panels are a little wider then the two outside panels. That is how it should be assembled and how it should look. In the video it might be hard to see this step.
Place Stampin’ Dimensionals as seen below.
Cut 2 more pieces of cardstock @ 5¼ x 3¾ for the front and back of the card.
